MTB Marathon National Champions, Curve takes three!
Posted by Scott on 8th July , 2009Saturday the Mountain Bike Marathon National Championships were held in Breckenridge Co. Racers werer greated with a spectator packed downtown start as they rolled out of town to tackle 50 miles of dirt roads singletrack and almost 11,000 ft of climbing. Subaru-Gary Fisher brought their best and came home with the goods. Jeremy Horgan-Kebelski and wife Heather Irmiger dominated to competition besting their rivals by more then 10 minutes. Horgan-Kebelski won the mens pro tile and Irmiger took the womens pro title. Scott Tietzel took a third victory for Curve in the mens open 19-29 category. Other notable Curve sponsored riders included Dan Dombrowski and Aaron Brown from the Rocky Mountian Bikes Elite cycling team.
