The Sandra segment of the Curve Base Layer System is constructed of our proprietary Sandra polypropylene mesh material.
Temperature Range
o Sandra garments work best from about 55-60º F and up in most applications.
o When layered with other Curve garments, it is possible to extend the useful temperature range.
o In cold weather, the Sandra sleeveless shirt works extremely well when worn underneath a Milano shirt. This combination works very well down to about 35º F.
Fabric Features:
o Sandra mesh material is made from 100% polypropylene fibers to offer excellent moisture wicking and maximum airflow through the fabric to promote cooling during hot days.
o The Sandra material dries much faster than any polyester based fabric during cycling.
o The extra loft of the weave creates airspace that will keep you warm when worn underneath a tighter weave Milano layer during cold days.
o Flat seam stitching for added comfort.
o Close fitting cut, to avoid bunching under other garments.
o Sandra garments are extremely lightweight, due to the low specific gravity and open weave of the fabric.
